How is my data analysed?
Every project is handled by a qualified statistician matched to your subject area and required software, whether that's an SPSS analysis, an R-based statistical programming build, or a full biostatistics project for a clinical study. You're assigned a single point of contact who manages your project right from when you submit your request until delivery.
What are your statisticians' qualifications?
We are a relatively small team of statisticians, and we know each other very well. At least each statistician holds a Master's degrees in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field, with professional experience in applied statistical analysis and data analyst. For every project, we assign a specialist to undertake the project.
Do I need to speak with someone directly to get a quote?
No, that is not necessary. You can request a customized quote without a live consultation. Just send us your project details (data, research questions, assignment brief, or dissertation chapter), and your assigned contact will follow up with a scoped, fixed-price quote and any clarifying questions.
What happens after I submit my project?
- We review your project and assess its scope, whether it's SPSS help for a single test, a full data analysis project, or ongoing online statistical coaching.
- You're assigned a personal project contact based on the complexity and subject area.
- You receive a recommendation on approach, which statistical analysis methods we'd use and what results to expect, along with a fixed-price quote.
- Once confirmed, work begins. Typical turnaround is 3 to 5 days for typical student statistical projects, and other biostatistics projects can take a longer period (upto 3 months). If you need a project sooner, please inform us.
Is my data secure and confidential?
Yes. All project data is stored securely in our office device, and it is only accessible to the assigned statistician. Our statisticians sign a contract with us requiring them to be responsible with the data, and they are expressly not expected to share such data with any other parties. All work is treated as confidential, and data is deleted within a month after project completion and you have not requested any revisions.
What does statistical consulting cost?
Because every project differs in scope, from a single SPSS output to a full biostatistics analysis for a clinical trial, we cannot speculate a specific price. For student statistical projects, you can check our pricing page to see a rough estimate of project cost. For other projects, we assess each request individually and provide a fixed-price quote upfront, so you know your total cost before work begins. If the project takes longer than estimated on our end, that's absorbed into the fixed price, not passed on to you.
Where are you based, and does that affect who you can work with?
Our head office is in London. We work with students, researchers, and businesses globally, and location doesn't limit which services are available to you. All our coaching services are offered online via Zoom, and you are welcome to visit our office in London, if necessary.
What data formats can I send, and what do I get back?
You can send data in any standard format (SPSS, Stata, R, Excel, CSV, or plain text). We deliver results in whichever format suits your use case: raw output and syntax, a written report, or data and visuals integrated into a presentation (e.g., PowerPoint), depending on what you need.
Can students pay in installments or get a discount?
Yes, we offer payment plans and reduced rates for students and early-career researchers on eligible projects. The specific arrangement depends on project scope; reach out and we'll work out terms that fit.
What do you offer private individuals and students specifically?
For students and individuals, we primarily offer online statistical coaching, working through your analysis together via screen-share, so you receive not just the output, code, and graphics, but also a clear explanation of what the results mean and how to interpret them. We also offer dissertation writing, including editing, proofreading, and statistical write-up support based on analysis you have already conducted.
What's the difference between statistical consulting, coaching, and data analysis?
- Statistical consulting — you stay hands-on; we advise on method, design, and interpretation.
- Online statistical coaching — live, one-on-one teaching sessions built around your project.
- Data analysis — full-service: we run the statistical analysis and deliver results and interpretation.
- Statistical programming — custom, reusable code for recurring or complex analysis needs.
- Medical biostatistics — specialized support for clinical trials and public health research.
